A Russian woman walked without a hat in winter and almost died due to pus in her ear, which destroyed her skull
A 31-year-old resident of Orekhovo-Zuevo near Moscow developed otitis media and fell into a coma. At first she complained of nausea and her speech became sluggish. And the next day she was brought to the hospital in a coma. Doctors diagnosed the patient with acute cerebrovascular accident.
The culprit was purulent otitis media, which caused an abscess and destroyed part of the skull behind the right ear. In addition, the woman developed meningitis. A little more and it could have led to death.
Surgeons urgently operated on the patient and 30 milliliters of pus were pumped out. After this, the woman woke up and admitted that she had been busy with work for a long time and did not go to the hospital until the pus destroyed her skull.
