What evidence does the CIA chief say that he obtained about the nuclear sites of Iran, after the bombings in the “Midnight Hammer” operation

The director of the CIA, John Ratcliffe, issued a statement on Wednesday saying that the agency he runs has obtained “a series of credible evidence” indicating that Tehran's nuclear program “was badly damaged after the recent targeted attacks”, carried out by the American army on Iran nuclear sites, CNN and Sky News.

This evidence “includes new information from a source/method that has been historically proven to be a reliable one, information according to which several key Iranian nuclear facilities have been destroyed and which will take several years,” said Ratcliffe.

His statement comes one day after the US press reported about a preliminary analysis of the US Agency for military information, carried out about 24 hours after attacks, which found that American bombings probably have only delayed Iran's ability to produce a nuclear weapon.

The White House rejected this evaluation, qualifying it as “wrong”.

US President Donald Trump challenged the press reports on this “leak” of secret information on Wednesday, saying that the US had “laughed” and gave back the Nuclear program of Tehran with “decades”. The head of the Pentagon, Pete Hegseth, claimed that there is a “political motive” behind the leak of information.

For her part, the head of the national information services in the US, Tulsi Gabbard, previously published on Wednesday a message on the social network X stating that “new information” claims the idea that Iran's nuclear facilities have been “destroyed” in American attacks.

“New information confirms what the US president has said several times: Iran's nuclear installations have been destroyed,” Gabbard wrote in her message, but without providing evidence.

“If the Iranians will decide to rebuild, they should rebuild all three facilities (Natanz, Fortow, Esfahan), which would probably last for years,” she said.

The damage caused to the Iranian nuclear program, still unclear / what Trump supports

Donald Trump said on Wednesday that the damages caused to the Iranian nuclear program by the American weekend are severe and he considers a preliminary report of information services that estimates that this nuclear program was only given a few months ago, while the Israeli army states that the damages have not yet been evaluated, AGERPRES has not been evaluated.

According to the respective preliminary report, drained in the press, the US hit of Iranian nuclear facilities has not completely eliminated the centrifuges to enrich the uranium or the enriched uranium stocks.

The attack rather closed the entrances to some installations, without destroying the underground rooms, and the Iranian nuclear program seems to have been given a few months ago, according to the US Agency for Military Information and whose leak in the press, US Secretary Rubio, promised to be investigated.

Trump, who after the bombing on Sunday on the three main infrastructures of the Iranian nuclear program claimed that this program was “shaved”, said on Wednesday that the program was given “decades” and that the hit facilities are completely destroyed.

“The report of the Information Service is very inconclusive,” Trump said in front of the press before the NATO summit in The Hague. The Iranian nuclear program was given back “practically for decades, because I do not think they will ever resume it,” the White House leader argued.

On the other hand, the US president mentioned that the US attack was also meant to lead to the end of the war between Israel and Iran, and compared the situation with the end of World War II after launching atomic bombs in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

“I do not want to use the example of Hiroshima, I do not want to use the example Nagasaki, but it is essentially the same. It has finished the war,” Trump said, while the armistice ended on Tuesday and Israel has been at least respected.

During this time, the spokesman of the Israeli army, Effie Defrin, said that it is “it is still too early to evaluate the results of the operation” and the damages caused to the Iranian nuclear program. “I think I gave a significant blow to the nuclear program and I can also say that I was late for a few years,” the Israeli official added.

Claiming that Iran is about to produce a nuclear weapon, Israel, which is an unofficial nuclear power, launched on June 13 a powerful campaign of aerial attacks that targeted the Iranian military infrastructure (anti -aircraft defense systems, ballistic missiles, etc.), Nuclear infrastructures, Nucle declared to neutralize the Iranian nuclear program and the stock of ballistic missiles with which the Tehran responded to this campaign through waves on Israel.

Also, Israel killed high -ranking members from the Iranian army and the guards of the Revolution, as well as researchers in the nuclear sector.

But for hitting the Iranian nuclear installations located underground, especially the Forto (Forto) facility, buried about 80 meters below a mountain, Israel needed the involvement of the US, the Israeli army having no sufficiently strong anti-tunic bombs.

Therefore, the United States launched on Saturday night to Sunday the “Midnight Hammer” Operation, in which they attacked the Iranian facilities for the Uranium, Natanz and Isfahan.

14 GBU-57 anti-buses were used in the attack, dozens of Tomahawk cruise missiles and over 125 military aircraft, including seven invisible B-2 bombs, the latter launching anti-good bombs, which, according to the satellite images, caused at least six large craters above the Fort's site.

However, it is not clear whether Iran managed before these attacks to withdraw from the nuclear facilities enriched to be sheltered elsewhere.
