Who are the councilors of Nicușor Dan. The president has officially established his team

President Nicușor Dan decided to keep in the Cotroceni team on five presidential advisers and three state councilors whose mandates were to end on June 30. The decrees signed by the head of state were published on Tuesday in the Official Gazette.

Cristian Diaconescu, former Minister of Foreign Affairs and Justice in several governments of Romania, will remain in the Presidential Administration and from June 30, in the position of presidential adviser for national defense and security.

At the same time, Luminița-Teodora Odobescu will remain in Cotroceni, in turn former head of Romanian diplomacy, Delia Dinu, from the Protocol Department, Mariana Costea, Simona-Livia Maftei, respectively the State Councilors Lenuța Cobuz, Gabriel-Cristian Pișciu and Cătălina Pișciu.

The eight were among the counselors issued by the interim president Ilie Bolojan, on May 26, with the decision of the decision from June 30 to ensure the transition.

Currently, Mihai Şomordolea (State Advisor-National Security Department-CSAT Secretariat) and Florin-Lazar Vlădă (State Advisor-National Security Department-Director of the Integrated Intelligence Office) are also included in the presidential administration.

The counselors appointed by Nicușor Dan by the decrees published on Tuesday in the Official Gazette:

  • Cristian Diaconescu – presidential adviser for defense and national security
  • Mariana Costea – presidential counselor
  • Delia Dinu – presidential counselor
  • Luminița-Teodora Odobescu-presidential counselor
  • Simona-Livia Maftei-presidential counselor
  • Lenuța Cobuz – State Councilor
  • Gabriel-Cristian Pișcociu-State Councilor
  • Cătălina Galer – State Councilor
