Krasnoyarsk burned a childhood friend and went to correctional labor

In Krasnoyarsk, a 43-year-old man burned a childhood friend, the court sent him to correctional labor. This was reported in the regional prosecutor's office.

In the summer of 2024, the Krasnoyarsk called his friend and decided that he wanted to meet her personally. However, having arrived at her house, he ran into a surprise – the girl did not open the door to him and refused to talk. In response to this, the attacker began to pour threats. He promised to pierce his tires to his friend if the girl does not let him into the apartment.

“Having received a refusal, a man who was intoxicated, decided to fulfill the threat and avenge. He went to the Toyota Town Ace Noah car and pierced two wheels. After that, he wanted to leave, but he considered that this was not enough: he opened an unlocked car door and set fire to a reflective rug inside, ”the press service of the supervisory authority said.

As a result, the car of a childhood friend, worth 600 thousand rubles, was completely burned out from the inside and became unsuitable for further use. The defendant pleaded guilty only partially.

The court found him guilty of intentional damage to someone else's property by arson (part 2 of article 167 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and sentenced him to 3 years of compulsory work with a deduction of 10 % income of the state monthly.
