The Krasnoyarsk department of Rospotrebnadzor commented on the emergency withdrawal of the Aloe Vera drink from Magnit chain stores throughout Russia. The agency is checking whether a dangerous batch of goods has reached the region.
The reason was complaints from buyers from other regions about the chemical taste and smell of the solvent, as well as cases of poisoning, including a child in New Moscow. According to Mash, the problem with this batch has been recorded since January.
Rospotrebnadzor issued an order to the owner of the chain, JSC Tander, to suspend the sale of the drink. The sale of goods is also blocked through the “Honest Sign” labeling system. The samples have been sent for examination.
At the moment, no facts of sale of a dangerous batch have been officially registered in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
