“Nobody can tell us what we should and not,” said a representative of the Iranian government in a conversation issued on Sunday.

He added that according to Tehran, continuation of conversations does not make sense at present. “We don't negotiate for the negotiations themselves,” he said.

The head of the ministry refused to answer the question whether Iran is seeking Moscow's military support, however, he emphasized that military cooperation with Moscow “is not a mystery (…) dates back to decades.”

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, currently in Moscow, Iran Abbas Aragczi stated on Monday that “Iran and Russia coordinate positions regarding the current escalation in the Middle East,” said Reuters.

On June 12, the Council of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (Maea) demanded explanations from the Iran authorities regarding the traces of uranium found in places that the country did not report as nuclear objects.

Tehran ensures that his nuclear program is only a peaceful character, but at the same time enriches uranium to a level that many times exceeding the needs of civil applications. Maea estimated that the amount of uranium was enriched in Iran to build nine nuclear charges.

On June 13, Israel began shelling of military and nuclear targets in Iran. Over a week later, on June 22, the US bombed three Iranian nuclear objects. The head of Pentagon Pete HegeSth said that the United States “destroyed the Iranian nuclear program”. (PAP)
