Deputy Andreea-Firuța Neacșu informed the Permanent Bureau of the Chamber of Deputies that he resigned from the parliamentary group for the Union of Romanians (Gold), to continue his activity in Parliament as an unaffected deputy.
Andreea Firuța-Neacșu was chosen by Neamț in the December 2024 parliamentary elections. It is part of the Foreign Policy Commission (from March 2025) and the Commission for European Affairs. She was also a member of the Human Rights Commission, cults and problems of national minorities until April 2025, according to the site of the Chamber of Deputies.
Neacșsu is also part of the special Commission of the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate to support the process of accession of Romania to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
She is a member of the Permanent Delegation of the Romanian Parliament at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Cooperation process in Southeast and alternate in the delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly. He is also part of the Directory Committee of the Romanian Group of the Interparlament Union.
According to the official page of the Chamber of Deputies, in the current legislature, Andreea Firuța-Neacșu submitted four written political statements, initiated 14 legislative proposals, two draft decision and asked seven questions and interpellations.
According to the local press, Andreea-Firuța Neacșu is originally from Piatra-Neamț, is 38 years old and is an economist, a graduate of the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest. She became a member of gold in 2020, shortly after the party was founded, and was a consultant of the polytic formation. At the local elections of June 9, 2024 he had won a place of county councilor in Neamț.
In the spring, Gigi Becali and Robert Alecu deputies left gold.
