
If you have already tried all summer sauces and I want something new, surprise your domestic and guests, try to make a pesto. But not the usual Italian, which is from the basilica, but from garlic shooters. Such an unusual option is not found in every restaurant, but it is it that gives a special tip and freshness. Pesto goes well with fried chicken, baked fish, grill vegetables, or even just with brusetta. What will be needed
- 250 g of garlic shooters.
- 50 g of walnuts.
- 4 tbsp. l. vegetable oil.
- Half of the lemon.
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
How to cook
Wash the garlic arrows, dry, remove the tops and cut into pieces. Grind the arrows in a blender or through a meat grinder. Grind the nuts in the same way. Add zest and 2 tbsp. tablespoons of lemon juice, pour oil, sunbathe and pepper. Carefully trim the mass until smooth.
If you want the taste a little softer, add grated hard cheese or a couple of basil leaves.
