Presidential counselor Dragoş Anastasiu explained, at Digi24, to what his new post, the deputy prime minister will be, stating that the designated prime minister Ilie Bolojan wanted someone to have a relationship with the business environment and civil society. He also explained that Bolojan wanted to introduce the business style into the government.
Dragoş Anastasiu was asked on Sunday, how the idea of him was a deputy prime minister. “I was a counselor to President Bolojan, we stayed for a month, as all the councilors remained, to take the transition and take a step to reform in the Romanian state and somewhat comes naturally,” he said, quoted by News.ro.
He was asked what the deputy prime minister means for the reform and if he was an equivalent of Doge, an institution that was run in the US by billionaire Elon Musk.
Who is Musk from Romania named in the government by Ilie Bolojan
“It will certainly be a ministry, but we do not expect to be the ministry now or a large structure. The reforms are made by the ministers, only that there are certain issues that are intended and anyway the ministers must be helped, to have the relationship with the business environment, we must have the relationship with the civil society. And the prime minister focused on this, but you need a team, more people to help things together, set deadlines as we do in private.
Dragoș Anastasiu said that the Romanian economy is still working well, although not with the same rate it had in previous years.
“We have to put fuel in the economy. How do you do this the simplest? Simplifying, debirocrat, that it does not cost this.
