The Italians protested against Israel and reinforcements. “If Trump intervenes, a war awaits us”

A manifestation against armor was held on Saturday in Rome on the initiative of the Italian Centholewit opposition and with representatives of about 500 associations. They protested against the armed surgery of the Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip and increasing defense expenditure.

The demonstration was attended by representatives of Parliamentary opposition groups of five stars and the alliance of the Green and the Left, as well as representatives of the Palestinian Community.

The demonstrators carried flags with the inscription “Peace” and banners with the slogans: “Stop genocide”, “Free Palestine” and “The choice is only one – disarming the world”.

One of the organizers of Roman raffel Bolini from the Arci Cultural and Social Association said during it: “According to all surveys, most citizens are against the war. We are terribly concerned about the fact that the law of a stronger one dominates international law. The one who can attack the second, allow genocide and destruction.”

“We mobilized when the European Union decided about new arms in the amount of EUR 800 billion. Then everything happened: the crazy NATO demands in the case of 5 percent of GDP for reinforcement, gas genocide will not end, war in Ukraine is underway, and now an unjustified one -sided Israeli attack on Iran.

“If (US President Donald) Trump intervenes, we are really threatened by a global war, and I remind us that there are many American military bases in Italy,” she added.

The Vatican Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin, who entered the Roman Capitol when the manifestation, asked about her, replied next to the Colosseum: “It's good that there is such a general mobilization to avoid the arms race.”

During the demonstration, several Israeli, NATO and the European Union flags were burned- the media records.
