According to the accounts of Bartosz Bartkowiak, a TVN24 reporter, who publicized the case, the actions of a member of the commission took place in the presence of a person with a certificate of voting right. The described event raised questions about the role of unofficial tools in the election process.
Certificates enabling voting outside the place of permanent registration have become the subject of nationwide discussion in recent days. He encouraged to use the #RKW application, among others PiS MP Dariusz Matecki. It is supposed to be used to verify documents in polling stations. The goal is to prevent any multiple use of certificates. However, this is not an application authorized by the PKW.

However, such a procedure met with clear opposition. The election commissioner from Gdańsk judge of the Court of Appeal Julia Kuciel issued guidelines so as not to verify electoral certificates, and to check attempts to check to the District Electoral Commission.
PKW does not see the problem, but there are doubts
The National Electoral Commission referred to the case at the morning press conference, although as emphasized, without an official position in this matter.
