The beginning of summer and at the same time the last full week of June will abound in publications from the Polish economy. Preliminary PMI readings and central bankers will count globally.

Monday, June 23

The first week of summer is also a day with PMI indications. At night there will be results from Australia (1:00) and Japan (2:30). In the morning we will go to Europe: France (9:15), Germany (9:30), EURO zones (10:00), Great Britain (10:30). In the afternoon time on the USA (15:45).

But earlier, the Central Statistical Office will send us a package of key macroeconomic statistics for May. And so traditionally at 10:00 we will learn the results of industrial production, producers prices (PPI), construction and assembly production, as well as average salary and employment in the enterprise sector.

Tuesday, June 24

Continued reports in the Polish economy. At 9:00 there will be a prosperity indicator according to Run, and 10:00 May statistics of retail sales. We will see if it is possible to maintain excellent results from April, which, however, were conquered by Easter. Also at 10:00 the IFO Institute will publish June results of managers.

Central bankers will take the afternoon. At 14:00 the decision of the National Bank of Hungary is expected, although the change in interest rates is unlikely to be out of the question. After 15:00, public appearances of representatives of ECB, the Fed and the head of the Bank of England are also planned. In turn, from 16:00 before the Commission of the Chamber of Representatives, the semi -annual report will be submitted by the chairman of the Federal Reserve Jerome Powell.

The results for the last rotary quarter will present Fedex – a courier company perceived by some as an economic barometer in the USA.

Wednesday, June 25

At 10:00 the May Statistical Bulletin of the Central Statistical Office will be released, including Data on the unemployment rate in Poland. Based on preliminary data, its seasonal decrease from 5.2% to 5.0% is assumed. At 14:30 the decision on interest rates will be revealed by the Czech National Bank. Money price is expected to maintain without changes at 3.5%.

Americans will present a weekly number of applications for a mortgage (13:00) and May sales statistics of new homes (16:00). It will also be the second day of “barbecue” chairman Powell. This time the head of the Fed will testify before the Senate Banking Commission.

Thursday, June 26

At 14:30, the Americans will present very historical final data on GDP for the first quarter. According to preliminary estimates, there was a decrease of 0.2% in an annualized approach. At the same time we will see May statistics of order for permanent use and weekly data on the number of unemployment benefits. At 20:30 a public speech is planned for the president of EBC Christine Lagarde.

The quarterly report will show Nike.

Friday, June 27

At night, macro data from Japan will come in June base inflation in the Tokyo region, unemployment rate and retail sales. In Europe, we will already go to publish preliminary inflation readings for June. The French (8:45) and the Spaniards (9:00) will show the first data on CPI inflation. At 11:00 the European Commission will present June economic economic indicators for the euro area.

In turn, at 14:30 a May report on Americans' income and expenses will be released. This publication contains, among others Data on the base Deflator of consumer expenditure (PCE Core), which is the preferred measure of inflation for decision -makers from the federal reserve. At 16:00 we will see the final reading of the Michigan University index measuring consumer moods. The initial reading showed an unexpected improvement after we saw one of the lowest readings in history in April and May.
