The Supervisory Board of ElectroMobility Poland SA adopted a resolution to dismiss Łukasz Maliczenko from the position of vice-president of EMP as of January 22, 2026 – said Piotr Michniuk, press spokesman for ElectroMobility Poland.

Łukasz Maliczenko has been with ElectroMobility Poland since 2019. Previously, he was the director of product development in the company. He was appointed to the management board of ElectroMobility Poland on September 2, 2024 as vice-president.

Tomasz Kędzierski remains on the company's management board as president.

ElectroMobility Poland is in the final stages of its efforts to obtain PLN 4.5 billion in the form of capital injection from KPO for the construction of a Polish electromobility hub; the company indicated that it was establishing a joint venture model with one of the leading Asian manufacturers.

The hub would be built in the Jaworzniki Economic Area and consist of an electric car factory, a research and development center and a system of investing in innovative companies in the field of electromobility. EMP representatives indicated that the preparation of a new concept was necessary due to the disruption of the design continuity of Izera cars at the end of 2023 due to lack of financing.

On November 18, 2025, the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management announced that PowerUp Hydro Tech and ElectroMobility Poland were on the short ranking list in the Support Instrument for the Low-Emission Economy program.

In mid-December, the fund announced that as part of the fourth revision of the KPO, the implementation and settlement schedules for investments implemented by the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management were updated, including: under the Support Instrument for a Low-Emission Economy.

The new deadlines are March 31, 2026 (instead of the end of 2025) for signing investment agreements between the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management and applicants, and June 30, 2026 for the transfer of funds by the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management as part of capital injections based on the agreements concluded in the first quarter of 2026.

At the end of December, the Ministry of State Assets announced that by the end of 2025, ElectroMobility Poland will receive Treasury securities worth PLN 800 million.

MAP explained that the funds come from the Reprivatization Fund and are intended for the project of building a factory for low-emission cars, i.e. hybrid and electric cars.

EMP was established in 2016 to build the Polish brand of electric cars, Izera. The company was founded by: PGE, Energa, Enea and Tauron (25% of shares each). In January 2023, the State Treasury acquired shares of the new issue and from now on it holds 90.8%. shares (energy companies 2.3 percent each). The share capital amounts to PLN 534.7 million.
