European countries evacuate diplomats from Israel and Iran


Prime Minister Serbia Djuro Macut talked on Thursday in Cairo with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Diaspora of Egypt, Badrem Abdolatim, about urgent evacuation of Serbian citizens currently in Israel, whose number exceeds 2,500.
Macut thanked the Egyptian minister for “unconditional support at the time of the crisis, because the country helped in all necessary steps to ensure safe evacuation of Serbian citizens who are in Israel's territory” – the Serbian government was reported in the communiqué. He added that thanks to this support of the Serbia Embassy in Egypt, “he accepts our citizens who will ensure a safe return to Serbia.”
Another evacuation. Balkan countries have made a decision
The Minister of Foreign and European Croatia Gordan GROLIMA Radman admitted on Wednesday that the authorities have already decided to evacuate employees of their embassies in Tehran and Tel Aviv. He emphasized that Zagreb is also working on getting his citizens from Israel and Iran.
Also the Presidium of BiH – the collegial head of the country of this country – decided to temporarily close the Bosnia and Herzegovina embassies in Iran and Israel. Northern Macedonia evacuated the first group of eight citizens from Israel, who arrived by plane to Skopje on Tuesday evening.
