UN report on sexual violence. Serious allegations against Russia and Israel

These findings are included in the UN Secretary General's annual report, the content of which was seen by the Associated Press (AP) ahead of its official publication on Friday. The report lists 77 state and non-state entities from various countriesthat have been found responsible for or linked to wartime sexual violence.
Russian forces were included for the first time based on documented cases involving prisoners of war and civilians held in Russian-controlled areas of Ukraine.
According to the report, investigators documented 310 cases of conflict-related sexual violencedespite limited access to the affected areas. “The vast majority of victims are men,” the report said, referring mainly to those detained.
The UN said Russian authorities restricted access to international investigators during the reporting period.
Russia rejected these findings. — We will send a letter to the Secretary-General stating that these are the case baseless lies and alleged eventswhich again portray Russia as a villain, said Russia's ambassador to the UN, Vasily Nebenzia.
The report also noted that Ukrainian observers documented 31 cases involving prisoners of war and detainees, most of which occurred before 2025.
Israelis also on the list. “We are fed up with this UN Secretary General”
Creators of the report for the first time they also added the Israeli armed forces and security services to the blacklist. The report found “patterns of sexual violence” against Palestinian prisoners held by Israel, including rape, gang rape, forced nudity, invasive searches and physical violence.
The UN confirmed the cases of 14 men, seven women and 10 minors from Gaza and the West Bank. Israel has denied these allegations.
The report kept Hamas on the blacklist in connection with the October 7, 2023 attacks on Israel, although many of the related allegations could not be independently verified due to limited UN access.
