US Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth, said on Wednesday that the US Army is ready to execute any decision that President Donald Trump will make on Iran, according to Skynews. At the same time, the official warned the Tehran regime that he should have raised the US leader to reach an agreement on the nuclear program.

“He should have accepted an agreement. The word of President Trump has weight. The world understands this,” Hegseth said during hearing in the Commission for the Armed Forces in the Senate.

“At the Defense Department, our mission is to be prepared with options, and that's what we do now,” he added.

Asked if the Trump administration is trying to restore discouragement-a term that defines actions meant to prevent an opponent from resorting to hostile attacks-Hegseth claimed that this has already been done to a certain extent.

“I think, to a large extent, we have already restored discouragement in this context. It remains to be seen, in the coming days, in what direction things will evolve,” said the Secretary of Defense.

The White House leader organized an emergency meeting with his security team on Tuesday evening, several scenarios being taken into account, including the direct involvement of the US with Israel.

Also on Tuesday, President Donald Trump issued a series of warnings to Iran, appointing the supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamena an “easy target” and saying that “the patience of America is at an end.”

“We know exactly where the so-called” supreme leader “is hidden. It is an easy target, but it is safe there – we will not remove it (kill!), At least not for the moment. But we do not want rockets drawn on civilians or American soldiers. Our patience is at an end. Thank you for the attention paid to this problem! ” Trump wrote in a Social Truth post.

In a subsequent post, Trump wrote in capital letters: “unconditional capitulation”.

The Tehran said on Wednesday that he told Washington that he would respond firmly to the United States if they were directly involved in the Military Campaign of Israel.

“We will not show any hesitation in the defense of our people, security and territory – we will respond with seriousness and firmness, without restraint,” said Ali Bahreini, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic to the United Nations in Geneva, in front of the journalists, adding that Tehran considers the US to Israel.

At the same time, the supreme leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, qualified as “unacceptable” the ultimatum given by US President Donald Trump.

“Intelligent people who know Iran, the Iranian nation and its history will never talk to this nation in a threatening language, because the Iranian nation will not be taught,” he said.

“Americans should know that any US military intervention will undoubtedly be accompanied by irreparable damages,” he added.
