“I ask them to avoid the travels in the house during the Red Code. Please avoid the crowded part of the city, to avoid areas that are floodable. Among the areas with high risk of floods include the neighborhoods of Colentina, Tineretului, Văcărești and Berceni.

Bujduveanu said that additional measures were taken to clean sewers and gave details about the flood-risk areas, especially the intersections in the valley and the areas with separate tram lines. The mayor announced the suspension of the courses in all the educational units in Bucharest, on Wednesday, for the safety of students and parents. At the same time, the City Hall collaborates permanently with Apa Nova and the Bucharest Transport Company (STB) to prevent water accumulation and to ensure a functional public transport.
The ISUBIF chief inspector, Alexandru Precup, announced that 60 special vehicles and 50 motor pumps are prepared, and DGASMB will act on the field to ensure that no homeless person stays on the street.
