Tensions after the ministries are divided: stenograms from the PSD meeting. Grindeanu: “I was a little tired”

The division of ministries into the ruling coalition has aroused dissatisfaction inside the PSD. The stenograms of an informal meeting reveal harsh replies and accusations regarding USR favor and the risk of party division.

Following the negotiations between the parties in the ruling coalition, the Social Democratic Party requested and received two portfolios considered essential: the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Transport. In addition, the Social Democrats will also run the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Labor, the Ministry of Agriculture and either the Ministry of Investments and European Projects (MIPE) or the Ministry of Energy.

However, the atmosphere in the party has become tense. According to the stenograms obtained by Antena 3 CNN, several PSD leaders expressed their dissatisfaction with this division and the idea launched by Sorin Grindeanu to be elected through an internal competition.

Dissatisfaction from territory and harsh warnings

Sorin Grindeanu, the interim president of the PSD: the negotiations were a success, We will have government rotary which will be written in the coalition agreement. Nicuşor Dan told us from the beginning that he will not put a PSD prime minister. I got used to the attacks, but the news on sources would have put someone else from the PSD were false. The fact that Ilie Bolojan will have the right of veto over the ministers is a PR thing, will not decide Bolojan what ministers we put. I want the ministers.

Corneliu Ştefan, president of the Dâmboviţa County Council: We do not better exchange ministries with USR, to take ours and us that the USR ministries are better than ours.

Titus Corlăţean, PSD senator: It is a big mistake that I did not take the Foreign Ministry and that I also lost the Ministry of Defense.

Paul Stănescu, Secretary General of the PSD: Sorin negotiated very well and the idea with the ministers to be elected by party competition is a very good one.

George Soldan, president of Suceava County Council: (no – ironic) It is good that I let the USR have the environment. You are the president of the party and you have to take on the list of ministers. Anyway, we all give us phones between us and the leadership is growing. If we contest on ministers, we break the party in two. And so the party is on the ground. I am interested in having a party in 2028. When I apply for Suceava to do it from PSD, in 2028.

Discussions about the Ministry of Development and CCR

Ionuţ Pucheanu, the mayor of Galati: Sorine, are some of the party who want the Ministry of Development. Our mayors are going to develop pictures with Cseke Atilla.

Sorin Grindeanu, the interim president of the PSD: Who apart from you, Ionuţ? That I was a little tired.

Robert Cazanciuc, PSD senator: We must take the presidency of the Constitutional Court. I left the judiciary and gave up special pension. No one ever asked me if I had something to support.
