– Fascinating from all points of view! I left with the third chance, in winter. And here's what was achieved. What other word would be more appropriate? What the boys managed at the tour with Minerul Lupeni, from 0-2 in the 89th minute, at 2-2 in the end, was incredible! Gave them extra confidence. That's why I say it was fascinating. The boys had some experiences that they certainly did not live in the past.

– What did you feel at the end of the match in Timisoara?
– Pfff … I got free. I had emotions at all the matches the team played. It was hard on the edge. You can't externalize yourself. I also gave directions, but limited, more censored. You cannot intervene in certain situations. At that match, it dropped from the intensity of emotions when I equalized to 1-1. I was firmly convinced that the promotion will be ours. I saw how the game is going, I had a trusted boost after the break and I saw what was happening on the field. It was 1-0 for Timisoara, but I said it was impossible not to score at least one goal.

– What plans in Liga 2?
– It's a lot of work. The level of intensity is higher, the trips are longer. It's a lot of work. You need transfers, negotiations with players, renegotiations. There are much more to adjust than Liga 3. In Liga 3 play only in the area. The longest trips were in Petroșani and Timișoara. Now we will go to Iași, Piatra Neamț, Bucharest, Bacău. It's pedaling around the country.

– A League 2 with Steaua and Dinamo.
– CSA Steaua and CS Dinamo. It will be a strong league 2.

– Do you have the right to promote?
So far not. Now we are working on obtaining the opinions for the new stadium. We are at the signing of the latest documents for opinions. The project is almost done. It will be like Miercurea Ciuc. All local authors are involved. I'm behind the team. We feel their presence. They want to do something for communications. The stadium is done. It's not like the others, through CNI. It's not who knows what stadium. There will be good conditions for very good for Liga 2, with the possibility of extension for Liga 1.

– Increases the budget in the new season?
-You want to grow us, but we don't have to neglect the situation that is now in the country. It's not something encouraging. But I am convinced that the necessary ones will be found to have the right budget.

– Was it surprising when the news appeared that you were named at Olimpia Satu Mare?
– Did anyone expect? Those from there searched me and insisted. They have been looking for me since mid-November. At the end of December I clapped the palm, and on January 13, the official announcement was made.

– What attracted you to this project?
– People who are involved in the project. People attracted me, I was attracted to the community. The city is very quiet, it is very beautiful and clean. I just walk. Many people do this, many children go to school. It's quiet. There are good conditions to do something that lasts, for a team with name. We have many football schools in the area, things are moving. We have many and very good relationships. Investments are made, there are many children. Things are going in the right direction.

– What goal do you have for next season?
-We do not stretch more than we can cover. The objective is to keep in Liga 2. We do not want to make a presence of a year and to return to Liga 3. We will fight to stay in Liga 2, to strengthen our position. And from there we follow the steps we set. But for the first season the maintenance is the goal. To be clear.
