Millions of zlotys from the Polish Foundation under the magnifying glass of the prosecutor's office. “Propaganda tube”

The Polish National Foundation (PFN) announced the submission of two notifications to the National Prosecutor's Office regarding the possibility of committing crimes by the former management board of the organization. The case concerns projects related to the film about Merian C. Cooper and the Kościuszko Squadron and cooperation with entities in the USA. Losses are estimated at millions of zlotys.

The second notification concerns cooperation with an American entity that was to be responsible for the organization of PFN activities in the USA. The Foundation estimates losses of at least 400 thousand. zlotybut points out that the actual scale of damage may be greater.
The information provided shows that the documentation owned by the Foundation indicates a high probability of unreliable implementation of many activities in the US, in particular supervision over their performance and financing.
Both notifications relate to the activities of the former PFN Board in 2017-2021. The Foundation does not exclude submission of subsequent notifications in connection with “successively disclosed irregularities”. The statement indicates that the organization's goal is to fully repair the damage and determine the liability of persons involved in mismanagement.
Financial resources spent by the Foundation come from the founders – state -owned companies.

“These are not a couples, it is no retaliation, it is justice. And this is another report, because the prosecutor's office is already investigating as much as PLN 30 million in contrast to allocation, “Maciej Wróbel wrote on the platform.
The Polish National Foundation was established in November 2016 on the initiative of the then Prime Minister Beata Szydło. Its founders were 17 state -owned companies.
