The regional operator “Rosttekh” spoke about the consequences of untimely payment utility services for the treatment of MSW.

It is necessary to pay for this service on time, because this is the obligation of each homeowner established by law. The deadline for making payment is the 10th number of each month. Untimely or incomplete payment entails negative consequences for the consumer, recalls the re -operator.

First of all, if the debt arises, penalties are accrued. The size of the penalty increases every day of delay, which makes the debt more and more burdensome. In addition, the non-payer risks losing the subsidies and benefits due to him to pay for housing and communal services.

If the owner continues to ignore payment documents and does not take any measures to pay off the debt, the regional operator has the right to apply to the court with a claim for debt collection. Appeal to the court is an extreme measure, but the judicial practice is already quite extensive, experts explain.

“For example, the consumer systematically does not pay for the service and has accumulated a debt of 3,000 rubles. In this case, by court decision, he will have to pay the entire amount of the debt, as well as accumulated penalties, and the state duty, which is 2,000 rubles. Thus, instead of contributing a small amount of payment for the service provided monthly, the debt will increase multiplying due to legal costs, ”Struttech explains.

The following measures may be applied to the debtor:

• The arrest on funds is imposed, including credit cards;
• the arrest on the property of the debtor is imposed;
• Limitable exiting the borders of the Russian Federation;
• arrest on property of a spouse acquired in marriage;
• The amount of the debt can be withheld from wages, pensions, other income and payments.

If you belong to the category of citizens who are entitled to benefits for utilities, then if there is a debt for at least one communal service, the subsidy is not charged.

“In order to avoid court proceedings, additional costs and other negative consequences of the availability of debt, pay housing and communal services in a timely and in full,” the company's specialists said.

Timely payment of each consumer directly affects the quality of the services provided, emphasized in Rosttech. The debt for payment of MSW services jeopardizes the stability of the work of regional operators. Investing in new equipment and equipment becomes more difficult. This can lead to a crisis of the entire system of handling of MSW.
