Among those deported are people from Central Asian countries. A 32-year-old man spent ten years in prison for attempted drug trafficking on a large scale. Two others, 23 and 24 years old, served 3.5 years each for robbery. The fourth, 38-year-old, was sentenced to two years for intentionally causing grievous bodily harm.

After their release, their further stay in Russia was considered undesirable. The men were placed in the Temporary Detention Center for Foreign Citizens and then deported to their homeland. They were also banned by law from entering the country.

Since the beginning of the year, employees of the regional migration department have already expelled 133 foreigners who violated the law. The department emphasizes that work to monitor compliance with migration rules continues.
