In Krasnoyarsk, the head of the post office appropriated the money of the late pensioner and received a suspended sentence. This was told in the prosecutor's office of the region.
According to the supervisory authority, in 2020, a 44-year-old woman was repeatedly convicted of thefts of the postal service of the Krasnoyarsk post office, having worked in the service of the operator. For some time, the inventory values of the post office were preserved, but when in January 2024, in the name of a 84-year-old pensioner who died six months ago, a transfer was transferred, Krasnoyar decided to take the situation.
“Instead of sending the addressee to the heiress received dividends from JSC“ Independent Registration Company R.O.S.T. ” In the amount of 287 thousand rubles, the woman left the money to herself, citing a non -existent recipient. A few months later, the pensioner’s daughter entered into the inheritance and found out about the transfer, then the criminal scheme was revealed, ”the regional prosecutor's office said.
The defendant pleaded guilty and compensated the victim to the damage, and explained her act with financial difficulties.
For the assignment of money (part 3 of article 160 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), the court sentenced it to 1 year 8 months of conventional imprisonment with a probation period for the same period.
