Mentzen's party awaits deletion? PKW rejected the report of New Hope

The PKW rejected the New Hope's party's report on Monday for 2023. This is another commission's actions regarding the formation of Sławomir Mentzen. The PKW has already applied to the court to remove the grouping from the records of political parties, which was informed by PAP spokesman Marcin Chmielnicki.

The President of the New Hope party is the Confederation MP Sławomir Mentzen.

In May, PKW reported that new hope is one of the groups that did not submit the financial statements for 2024 on the required period. In this case, the Commission – in accordance with the Act on political parties – appears to the court to remove the entry of this party from the records.

KBW spokesman Marcin Chmielnicki confirmed PAP that the Commission applied to the court for deleting new hope from the records of political parties.

Political party records are kept by the District Court in Warsaw.

In turn, during the Monday meeting, the PKW meeting, among others On the financial statement of the Sławomir Mentzen grouping for 2023, there was a proposal to reject it, among others Due to incomplete documentation, as well as the fact that the party was to not provide explanations on the PKW questions to it several times. During the vote, the Commission unanimously decided to reject the report of New Hope for 2023.

The confederation is currently created by formations: New Hope (formerly Korwin), whose leader is MP Sławomir Mentzen, National Movement – headed by Krzysztof Bosak at the head and confederation of the Polish Crown, whose leader is Grzegorz Braun. (PAP)
