Extremist candles: Americans were shocked to see the snowflake design on a New Year's candle
The most popular American manufacturer of personal care products, Bath & Body Works, placed a paper snowflake on the label of its scented candle. But many saw in her the caps of the Ku Klux Klan.
This caused such a scandal that the brand eventually had to justify itself and prove that their designers were not white supremacists.
The candles were removed from sale.
