We are planning a reform, which already at the school stage is to strengthen the agency of young people – said Barbara Nowacka on Monday. As she explained, it is about increasing practical education in schools, where there will be emphasis on cooperation and skills.

The head of the Ministry of National Education participated on Monday in the conference “What is young Poland” combined with the presentation of the results of the study, the state of young 2025, organized by the important matters of the Foundation.

The minister, addressing young people, noted that politicians must know their opinions to develop solutions that meet their needs.

According to Nowacka, for many years the policy addressed to young Poles was “in a complete scatter”. She pointed out that co -financing for all projects was divided into various institutions.

“From the things I know that I succeeded is that the policy regarding the state's strategy towards young people is in one place – it is the Ministry of National Education. And here it will remain in order to create strategies and that for all other ministries these strategies were clear” – emphasized Nowacka.

She added that the report of the Young Status 2025 is an important element, because “no state that will strengthen the perception of young people will not get far.”

The minister announced that A reform is planned in the ministry, which – already at the school stage – is to strengthen the agency of young people. As she explained, it is about increasing practical education, emphasis on cooperation and skills, as well as building the authority of teachers.

During the conference, the Stanie 2025 report was discussed, which shows that the vast majority of young people (80 percent) see social commitment as effective activity for the good of the world and people. 83 percent In the previous year, young people got involved in social or politically, but this was primarily adopted by the figure of a conversation with their loved ones. Participation in protests, supporting non -governmental organizations, publication of involved content in their social media – applies only to several/several percent of respondents.

In addition, the study shows that 45 percent Young people do not feel well represented by any of the political parties in Poland (it is 47 percent of men and 43 percent of women). 29 percent Young people are able to indicate a party that properly reflects their views.

The voters and electoral voters of the Together (65 %), Law and Justice (54 percent) and confederation (51 percent) feel the best. The least convinced electo is PSL (13 percent), Poland 2050 (20 %) and Civic Coalition (28 percent).

In turn, 35 percent Young people do not feel that he has an impact on politics. Young and young with vocational education have the lowest sense of agency – this applies to almost half of them (48 percent).

The “Young Status” survey was conducted in November 2024 on a group of 1002 Polish women and Poles aged 18-29 by the workshop Opinia24 at the request of the Foundation Important Matters and More in Common Polska.
