In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the state traffic inspectors of Zelenogorsk detained a drunken driver of an electrician.
The press service said that traffic police inspectors were on duty on Oktyabrskaya Street and noticed a powerful electric bike. Transport was stopped for verification. At the wheel of electric vehicles with a capacity of 400 watts was a 54-year-old man, from whom the pungent smell of alcohol emanated.
The driver was offered to undergo an examination, the alcotester showed 0.985 mg/l. The man was removed from control and an electric bike was taken to a special parking lot.
The police found that in May 2023, a local resident was already held administratively responsible for drunk driving. Then he was fined and took the rights for 1.5 years. But, apparently, the driver did not make proper conclusions.
A criminal case was opened against the offender under Part 1 of Art. 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Management of a vehicle in a state of intoxication by a person subjected to administrative punishment.” A man faces up to two years in prison.
