The aerial alert sirens started on Sundays in areas of the center of Israel, including Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, and in areas of the busy Westordan. The Israeli army had previously announced that it had detected rocket launches in Iran, according to The New York Times and The Jerusalem Post.

A few minutes after the announcement of the Israeli army, the Iranian press reported that a new wave of ballistic missiles was launched, while in Tehran new explosions were taking place against the backdrop of Israeli attacks, writes Al Jazeera.

According to The Jerusalem Post, 14 Israelis were killed in two days of Iranian attacks and another 390 were injured.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said on Sunday that Iran's answers to Israeli attacks will be “more decisive and severe” if the hostile actions of Israel continue.

Pezeshkian claims that the Iranian army has so far responded “firm and proper”, the report shows.

On Sunday afternoon, Israeli forces performed new bombings in the Tehran area.

The Iranian press reported on Sunday that the balance of deaths caused by Israeli attacks on Friday and Saturday is at least 128 people, including women and children, and the number of wounded is of the hundreds, AFP reports.

At least “128 people were martyred in these military attacks, and about 900 injured were admitted” in hospitals, wrote the Etemad publication, citing the Iranian Ministry of Health.

The Iranian press announced on Sunday that the police arrested two suspects for alleged links with the Israeli spy agency Mosad, according to AFP.

“Two members of the Mossad terrorist team who manufactured bombs, explosives, caps and electronic equipment were arrested” in the province of Alborz, west of Tehran, “Tasnim reported, citing a police spokesman.
