The diplomat reminded that this issue was discussed a year ago, when Joe Biden was the US president. An area of aerial prohibition above Ukraine would mean that Russian drones will be shot down by the NATO states that are bordering in its airspace, before reaching above the territories of the Alliance Member States.
A Russian deputy claims that the drone was launched by Ukraine
In a separate interview with Lenta, the Russian deputy Alexei Cepa cataloged as “aberrant” the information that the Russian drone that violated the airspace of Romania belongs to Russia.
