The President of Romania, Nicușor Dan, participates on Tuesday in the meeting of Ukraine's allies within the Coalition of the Willing, organized in Paris. The head of state makes press statements around 9:00 p.m.

“The objective of the coalition is to outline security guarantees for Ukraine after peace is achieved, so that there is certainty that Ukraine will not end up in the situation it was in before the war started. A public document was adopted by all states participating in this coalition. Also, a military document was defined that establishes the manner of exercising these guarantees, as well as the responsibilities of each state participating in the coalition. The United States is part of these security guarantees, which demonstrates the existence of a strong transatlantic partnership“.
The meeting of the heads of state and government of the Coalition of the Will, in which the president Nicușor Dan also takes part, takes place at the Élysée Palace.
The summit brings together leaders from 35 countries that support Ukraine and aims to show a “convergence” between the United States, European states and Kiev on the “operational modalities” of security guarantees for Ukraine, the Élysée Palace announced, according to AFP.
