In a massive night attack of the Russian troops on Kiev last week, the Ukrainian headquarters of the American Boeing group seemed to be damaged, “Financial Times” said on Sunday, citing employees of this company. According to the journal, this raises questions about the Kremlin's intentions.

“Russian attacks on American companies in Ukraine are another example of disregard by (Vladimir) Putin's US treatments for peace,” said “FT” head of Ukrainian diplomacy Andriy Sybiha.

Boeing operates in Ukraine in cooperation with the local company Antonow, specializing in the construction of aircraft, including heavy transport machines that can be military use – explains the British daily.

This is not the first blow of the Russians in American interests in Ukraine. At the early stage of the invasion in 2022, Russian soldiers discovered Jacek Daniels's magazine, which – as FT writes – turned out to be beneficial because they drank the entire reserve of whiskey gathered there, which slowed down their progress towards Kiev.

However, the attack on Boeing, in which the company's headquarters was seriously damaged, raises questions about whether Russia is not going to hit western enterprises cooperating with Ukraine, and especially its defense and aviation sector – says “FT”.

The daily notes that such tactics may be part of the extensive sabotage campaigns of Russia, whose goal is enterprises and infrastructure in Western Europe.

The headquarters of the most prestigious American corporation present in Ukraine was damaged in a massive night attack, in which the Russian army used 315 drones and seven rockets. (PAP)
