Trump talked to Putin about the situation in the Middle East

US President Donald Trump talked to Russian leader Vladimir Putin – said a representative of the White House, quoted on Saturday by the Reuters agency. Earlier, the Kremlin informed about the telephone conversation of leaders.

The White House has not yet issued an official message after the conversation of President Trump, who celebrates his 79th birthday on Saturday, with Putin.

Kremlin's adviser Yuri Ruszakow informed that the leaders talked on the phone about the armed conflict between Iran and Israel. Putin was to condemn the Israeli attack on Iran. Both presidents did not rule out a return to talks about the Iranian nuclear program.

The Russian leader was also to confirm the readiness to continue negotiating with Ukraine.

According to Uszaków, the conversation lasted about 50 minutes.

Previously, the conversation of US and Russian leaders was reported on June 4. Then Trump informed that Putin told him that he would “have to answer” to a Ukrainian attack on military airports in Russia, where – according to the authorities in Kiev – 41 aircraft were destroyed or damaged.
