Trump: I am disappointed with Russia and Ukraine

I am very disappointed with Russia, but also Ukraine, because I think that the arrangement could be concluded – said US President Donald Trump on Thursday. He suggested, however, that he would not stop striving to end the war between them.

“I am very disappointed with Russia, but I am also disappointed with Ukraine, because I think that the arrangement could be concluded,” said Trump, when asked by journalists in the White House about his efforts to end Russia's war with Ukraine. Trump did not explain the reasons for his frustration towards Kiev, although he had previously commented with a snack that Ukrainian attacks on Russian bases gave Russia a reason to “bomb them in the hell.”

Trump regretted because of the ongoing “slaughterhouses” in Ukraine, claiming that 5-6 thousand dies there. soldiers a week.

“I think we will achieve this (ending the war), but I am disappointed that it has not been done before,” he added.

In another part of the conversation with Trump journalists – talking about the military parade in Washington and mentioning the French celebration of the end of World War II – he was surprised that “everyone hates Russia”, while Germany and Japan “are fine”.

“I talked to President Putin and let's be honest with him: he lost 51 million people (…) Is it not interesting? He fought us in World War II and everyone hates them, and Germany and Japan are fine. Someday someone will explain it. But Putin is a bit surprised by it,” said Trump, dying the war losses twice.
