❗️Housing rental prices have risen sharply in Russia
Since August, the demand for rental housing in Moscow and the regions began to grow. The main reason for the price increase is the high key rate and, accordingly, a colossally expensive mortgage. Until the end of the third quarter of 2024, we should expect an additional increase in apartment rental prices, experts warn.
In Moscow in August, rental prices increased by 33% compared to last year: up to 114.3 thousand rubles on average per month, in St. Petersburg – by 31% to 56.9 thousand rubles.
In St. Petersburg, one-room apartments are now rented for an average of 46.9 thousand rubles per month, in Moscow – for 72.3 thousand rubles.
The shortage of supply (especially affordable) and the rates are so high that the trend for renting out rooms in apartments is returning.
