Remaining free of contract after the separation of Rangers this summer, Ianis Hagi is in the recovery period after the injury suffered in May, at the knees. He spoke about his future and about the future of his father, who gave up the position of coach at the Lighthouse.
Ianis Hagi, about the national of Romania: “We do our duty, we play for each other”

The Romanian international also spoke about the statements of the coach, Mircea Lucescu, who, after the victory with Cyprus, said he would completely rebuild the team: “Every day there is pressure with Nea Mircea, this is what I understood from the first meeting. Ianis Hagi also spoke about the new coach from Rangers and about the beautiful moments spent in the Scotland championship: “I do not know him personally, I know he has a pretty good history in the United Kingdom. He was also a short footballer in Rangers. Unfortunately for him, and he recognized it, I did not go very well.
I will always have rangers in my heart, it is a huge club. When I was young they trusted me and gave me the right team to be able to grow. I wish them all the good in the world and win as many trophies as it matters most there”.
Ianis also spoke about his father, who gave up the position of Lighthouse Coach, a team where he is also a majority shareholder: “I would like my father to be happy, happiness is in the job and in the family. Now he has more time for us. On the job, he likes coach, not the administrative side. I hope to find the right team, to train and so, not the administrative part, to have time for the family.”

Finally, Ianis also spoke about the recovery period in which he is, but also about his future: “I'm going well, I'm training. I start to regain my physical side, I try to disconnect when I have time. As I said, we talk, my impressions are in daily contact with teams, it is normal when you are a free contract player. I hope to be inspired in my decision”.
