Two young people were lifeless from a lake in Satu Mare County, and a 5-year-old died drowned in a collecting channel in Bihor, informs News.ro.
Starting at 14.40, firefighters from the Satu Mare Detachment have carried out a mission to search for possible people drowned in Lake Balastra Iojib.
“Following the intervention of the crews on the ground, the two disappeared today, 08.06.2025, in the Iojib ballast lake were found and identified. Unfortunately, the medical crews present on the spot were forced to declare their death, the probable cause being the drowning,” said ISU Satu Mare on Sunday evening.
These are two 18 and 20 years old who, most likely, went to bathe.
Another tragedy took place in Bihor County, where a 5-year-old died drowned in a collecting channel.
“On June 8, AC, around 14.42, the Bihor County Police Inspectorate was notified, through Snuau 112, about the fact that, in the town of Astileu, Bihor county, a 5-year-old minor, from Ortiteag, Bihor county, would have drowned in a collecting channel, during Sunday,”
The quoted source stated that the police and medical crews were emerging on the scene, but despite the resuscitation maneuvers, its death was declared.
Also in Bihor, on June 5, an 8 -year -old girl entered the waters of the Crișul Negru river and drowned. Employees found his body after three hours of searching.
