On Monday, the National Electoral Commission is planning a meeting on possible errors in the protocols of the regional committees after the presidential election – KBW spokesman Marcin Chmielnicki confirmed PAP. Ryszard Kalisz informed about the fact that such a meeting is to take place.
A spokesman for the National Electoral Office added that he did not know the date of the PKW meeting in this matter. Earlier on Monday he noted in an interview with IAR that it was the chairman of the PKW who convenes committee meetings. “The next official event with the participation of the PKW is a presentation to (Karol Nawrocki) a resolution on the election of the president,” told PAP Chmielnicki. This ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday, June 11.
Kalisz informed about the meeting of the PKW on entries of incorrect votes in the protocols of some regional electoral commissions on the weekend on Platform X.
“PKW meeting regarding entries of incorrect numbers of votes in the protocols of some OKW will take place on June 9, 2025 at 17.00. The Supreme Court decides on the validity of the President of the Republic of Poland on the basis of the report presented by the PKW and after recognizing the protests” – wrote Kalisz.
On Monday after 13 Kalisz told PAP that “President of PKW Sylwester Marciniak decided that at 17.00 a meeting of PKW members would take place”. “It will not be a meeting formula,” he added.
For several days, the media have been informing about the controversies related to counting votes in some committees during the Sunday second round of presidential elections.
One such case is the situation in the District Electoral Commission No. 95 at ul. Stawowa in Krakow, where the votes cast in the second round of presidential elections at Karol Nawrocki and Rafał Trzaskowski were assigned.
According to the election commissioner in Krakow, Rafał Sobczuk, representatives of the regional commission reported to the city hall and the District Commission, which conducts explanations in this matter.
According to media reports, irregularities could occur in several other committees. The difference between the two candidates was over 369,000 votes – Karol Nawrocki won 10 million 606 thousand. 877 votes, and Rafał Trzaskowski – 10 million 237 thousand 286.
Kosiniak-Kamysz: theses of Fr. Fake elections are unjustified

Gawkowski on Monday, during a conference taking place in Gdańsk, was asked by journalists, including for reports regarding alleged irregularities during the presidential election.
He emphasized that the National Electoral Commission should quickly take care of it and dispel doubts. “It cannot be that a week after the election it turns out that one candidate was clearly losing in committees and the other clearly gained,” said the deputy prime minister.
“I believe that we will quickly explain the issue of these election mistakes, because this is probably not even a mistake, but forgery. Many regional committees throughout the country were wrong in a similar way,” said the new left politician.
He added that there are mistakes in the election and “this is not unusual”. He also noted that one should consider whether in the case of the last election it was not a “organized mistake, i.e. forgery, which had a very simple operational goal, i.e. to change the results of the final protocols in regional committees,” he said.
