The flight of Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski inspired Żabka into space. The network's offer includes cosmic dishes: Asthrosis, Astropierogi and Astrodyser. Price? PLN 9.99 per pack.
Lyofood from Kielce, specializing in food freeze, in cooperation with the European Space Agency (ESA), is responsible for creating a space menu. “These are products that will work not only in space, but also during holiday expeditions. Feel the taste of space that accompanies the Polish astronaut in orbit” – argues Żabka in your press release.
The menu includes three dishes:
– Astrosis – tomato with ozo pasta, developed by chef Mateusz Gessler;
– Astropierogy – classic dumplings with cabbage and mushrooms, also by Gessler;
– Astrodyser – sweet crumble with apple and cinnamon.
The phenomenon of these dishes lies in freeze -free technology, which allows you to maintain nutritional value and taste while extending the shelf life – up to 18 months. Preparation is child's play: just add hot water, close the packaging and wait a few minutes.
“Freeze food is the perfect solution for mountain trekking, wandering or spontaneous trips. It is light, full-fledged and easy to prepare,” explains Agnieszka Piskała-Topczewska, a clinical dietitian from the Żabka group.
Astrodania in Żabka. Limited edition with an artistic accent
Not only the taste, but also the appearance of packaging attracts attention. Each of them is decorated with a photo of a space object taken by Hubble's telescope. Galaxies, nebulae and constellations were presented in artistic form by recognized Polish creators:
– Joanna Concjao – the author of the illustrations on the packaging of Astropierogs, inspired by family dinners;
– Aleksandra Czudżak – responsible for the Astrodyser project, which refers to children's dreams of space;
– Tomek Larek – graphics creator for aspelling.
Each dish has four different graphic versions, but only one is available in one store. “To collect the entire collection, you have to travel” – encourages Żabka.
