In Krasnoyarsk, they caught a 19-year-old accomplice of telephone scammers (video)

In Krasnoyarsk, police officers detained a 19-year-old local resident who worked for telephone scammers. For 4 days of his illegal activity, the guy took 2.2 million rubles from 4 pensioners.

It was established that the “representative of the law enforcement agency” contacted the victims and said that they were trying to perform fraudulent actions with their money, and to maintain savings, they need to be put on a “safe score”. The caller said that after a while a person who needs to give money would come, which was made by gullible elderly people. Moreover, one of the victims twice transferred the money to the courier – 270 and 265 thousand rubles.

Criminal investigators identified the attacker and detained him. The guy said that he received a proposal for “work” in one of the messengers, and transferred the money to the accounts indicated by scammers.

In relation to the defendant, a criminal case was opened under Part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code “Fraud, committed by an organized group or in Particularly large size ”, he faces imprisonment for up to 10 years.
