The PSD increased its parliamentary dowry with 10 more deputies and senators “transferred” from SOS Romania, led by Diana Şoșoaca, and Pot, the party founded by Anamaria Gavrilă. Among those who passed the PSD camp are Senator Ciprian Pintea, with only 10 classes passed in CV and two criminal files. “Adevărul” found out who was the PSD leader who negotiated the new parliamentary acquisitions. With the 10 additional senators and deputies, PSD can claim several functions in the negotiations in the ruling coalition.

The President of the Chamber of Deputies himself, Ciprian Șerban, the third man in the state, has dealt with the negotiations with the 10 trains from SOS Romania and can, political sources say for Adevărul. Specifically, the PSD obtained 22% in the parliamentary elections, but, as a result of the redistribution of votes and, more recently, the reduction of senators and deputies, has reached a percentage of 27% as a parliamentary weight, the sources quoted.
Among those who passed the PSD is Senator Paul-Ciprian Pintea, who became jokes after writing in the CV that he is taking courses at Academic Singles, a dating site. Pintea acknowledged that he has only 10 classes.
Ciprian Pintea ranked 2nd on the list can for Senate in Sălaj county and entered the Parliament after the redistribution of votes.
In March 2024, he was sentenced to one year and two months in prison with suspension for driving without a permit. For two years, it must be present periodically at the probation service and carry out 40 hours of work for the benefit of the community. A few months later, he was caught again driving without a permit and was elected with a new criminal case.
PSD Senator Titus Corlățean, former Foreign Minister, publicly criticized the decision of the party leadership to receive trails from minor formations, claiming that through such movements “the red line” was exceeded.
“I have been doing politics for 24 years, I understand a lot, even some compromises … but I refuse to be humiliated! I will definitely oppose such a direction. And I know I will not be alone! ”Corlățean said in a Facebook post, appealing to the PSD leadership to “It wakes up, until this fundamental party for Romania dies ”.
