Timiş police announced on Friday that it had opened a criminal investigation file on behalf of a teacher at the Tomnatic School, who slapped to a student who entered a scooter.
An incident spent at the Gymnasium School in the town of Tomnatic, Timiș county, resulted in the opening of a criminal case by the authorities on behalf of a teacher. Timisoara police have started investigations under charges of hitting or other violence and abusive behavior, after a teacher hit a 7th grade student.
According to an official statement sent on Friday by the Timiș County Police Inspectorate, the deed took place during the class hours. The student would have entered the classroom with a scooter and, following the request of the teacher to remove the vehicle, it would have refused and addressed offensive words to the teacher, who is also the class leader.

The incident was filmed by another student and made available to the local press.
The Timiş School Inspectorate confirmed the incident through a public information, mentioning that the tensions between the teacher and the 7th grade student quickly degenerated and, after a verbal altercation and a supposed gesture of the teacher's abrupt, she reacted inadequate, hitting the student with the palm.
Aura Danielescu, the head of IȘJ Timiș, said that immediately after the incident the school leadership intervened, starting an internal investigation to clarify the exact circumstances of what happened and to establish the responsibility of each involved party.
