By the summer season, MTS “pumped” mobile Internet on the Siberia federal highway in the Krasnoyarsk Territory

The MTS digital ecosystem reports the modernization of the mobile network and the expansion of the coating on the Sibir federal highway, as well as in several sections of regional and municipal highways. The total length of the updated MTS coating is about 70 kilometers.

Improvements on the basis of the MTS network affected the transport arteries of the region located near small settlements of Minusinsky, Nazarovsky, Uyarsky, Bolshemurtinsky, Sharypovsky, Kansky and Nizhnegashsky districts. In particular, the new telecom equipment was installed on three sections of the R-255 “Siberia” federal highway, which allowed the network to pump not only on the highway, but also in the adjacent settlements-the village of Sulemka, the villages of a new path (along the southern detour of Kansku) and Maryevka.

Mobile Internet speeds and MTS coverage also increased in areas of regional and municipal roads. In particular, the digital upgrade touched the roads “Minusinsk – Bellyk” along the village of Novotroitskoye, the “Yenisei tract” near the village of Maly Kantat, at the start of the Novoaltatka -Krutoyarsk road, as well as at the Gorya -Balai road near the Rosse village. For example, through Novotroitsk, tourists pave the way to the recreation center at the Gulf of Tuban and to the whole of Siberia Gore Tepsa.

“MTS continues to implement a large -scale project to modernize the network in the Krasnoyarsk Territory – we not only cover large settlements and tourist pearls of the region, but also improve the quality of communication on the largest transport arteries on the way to them,” said Sergey Egishin, director of MTS in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

Earlier, MTS updated the network and accelerated mobile Internet on highways and in small cities of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The network capacity and data transfer speed increased in Nazarovo, Lesosibirsk, Sosnovoborsk and other small cities of the region. The LTE network was launched on the section of the federal highway M-54 and the Boguchany-Kodinsk and Achinsk-Uzhur-Troitskoye highways.
