Trump says he is “very disappointed” by Musk, with whom he had “a lot of relationship.” “He had no problem until he left”

US President Donald Trump said in Washington on Wednesday that his relationship with Elon Musk may have been affected, after the billionaire recently criticized the draft law on tax and spending discounts supported by the White House leader, The Guardian reports.
“Elon knew how this bill works better than almost anyone here … He knew everything about him. He had no problem. Suddenly he had a problem, and this only happened when he found out that we would cut the subsidies for electric cars, because we are talking about billions and billions of dollars …”, said Trump, during the Bilateral meeting.
“You have seen his statements about me”
“And I can understand this, but he knew absolutely about this project. He knew better than almost anyone and had no problem until he left. And if you saw his statements about me-who can be easily obtained, they are very recent-he said the most beautiful things about me.
He then said he had a “great” relationship with Musk. “I don't know if we have it,” he continued.
Musk, attack on Trump, after leaving the White House
Elon Musk vehemently criticized, on Tuesday, the draft law on tax and expenses supported by President Donald Trump, saying he will explode the federal budget deficit, according to CNBC.
“I'm sorry, but I simply can not bear,” wrote Tesla and Spacex, who was a part until last week of the Trump administration, on the X platform.
“This huge, revolting, full -time political law is a disgusting abomination. Shame on those who voted for him: you know you have done something wrong. You know this,” Musk continued.
In a second post, Musk added that the law “will already increase the huge budget deficit to 2.5 trillion dollars (!!!) and will burden US citizens with unsustainable debt.”
Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and Spacex, left the Trump Administration last Friday after four months of office to lead the Doge program (Department for government efficiency), but US President Donald Trump has given assurances that he will frequently return to the White House, wrote Reuters.
“Elon does not actually leave,” Trump said at a press conference organized at the Oval Office where Musk, wearing a Doge cap and a “The Dogefather” shirt, stayed with him. “It will be here, it will come and leave,” the president added.
“Elon has worked without a break, contributing to the largest and most important government reform in the last generations,” Trump said.
Initially, the White House and high-ranking counselors insisted that Musk, the richest man in the world, was a key figure that will not leave anywhere. But, more recently, they had begun to mention the expiration of his special mandate as a 130 -day government employee, which was to end around May 30, as a natural end.
