The press service of the park said that the shooting was made on May 28, when the precinct inspectors Sergey Murashov and Nikolai Vesnin patrolled the territory. In total, at least 13 individuals live in the national park, 7 adults, the rest are kittens. One of the: a female with three kittens, a female with two kittens, a female with one kitten and four adult animals. They have time to have a good thing. This predator is very careful and will have a stout of life.

The leading researcher of Krasnoyarsk Pillars Vladimir Kozhechkin noted that this was the first case of fixing such behavior of a wild cat.

“The trails and ways of resettlement of animals in the mountains are usually timed to certain elements of landscapes, which should be considered as migration corridors. The resettlement of animals in natural conditions occurs mainly along similar routes. Most likely, in this situation, the main motivation of the beast was the resettlement. Despite the fact that in general, cats do not like water, this young individual still overcomes about 100 meters of a mountain river with a strong current. It should be noted that Lynx, like other carnivorous predators, has an innate swimming ability. Therefore, even such large rivers as the Yenisei and the Podkamennaya Tunguska are not a significant obstacle to them. Moreover, there are cases of trips of lynx through the Chivyrkuysky bay of Lake Baikal, ”the specialist said.
