The billionaire expressed the conviction that those who voted in favor of the act know that they made a mistake. He noted that the project will significantly increase the budget deficit – to $ 2.5 trillion – and burden American citizens. Until recently, Musk, a close associate of President Donald Trump, accused the US Congress that he would lead to America's bankruptcy.
In the next post he wrote that in the election of the middle of the term of office in 2026, voters behind the project would lose their positions. “In November next year, we release all politicians who betrayed the American nation,” he said.
According to the media, Tuesday's Musk entry can cause a short circuit between Trump and the boss of Tesla, who financially supported the Republicans during the campaign. The billionaire criticized the project before, but he was more restrained.
Last week, Musk informed about the departure from the US administration, in which he served as one of the main advisers of President Trump and the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (Doge).
