The president is thinking of involving the SRI in the tax evasion, which no fight ANAF, where exactly people from SRI were detached

For years, officers of the secret services worked at the Fisc and in the Ministry of Finance. The militarization did not solve anything, “much more would do data transparency.”
Nicușor Dan insists, at every public appearance, on the idea of military and hybrid threats to which Romania is subjected. Three short observations can run from here:
1. Militarization, once started, has the ability to expand in society
At the two trips abroad, Warsaw and Vilnius, the head of state has developed the idea: a military threat implies a military, but also economic and social response. The European army is one of the solutions. Adaptation of the industry as well. There are other countermeasures, such as closing the misinformation sites, I learned from what Nicușor Dan said in the interview for the Polish editorial Onet.
A president, especially one that comes from civil society, can look at the other face of the currency. The armies earn wars because they do not give back from furnishing a overwhelming force to overcome. This is the conqueror spirit of the case. This is asked, since they wake up at 5 in the morning, and we sleep for another three hours.
Combativity, hierarchy and power strategy are the things for which the soldiers and officers are trained, whether they are from the army or from other force institutions, from secret services to the gendarmerie.
After removing them from the barracks to save the country, you can rarely explain that it is time to reduce their budget, prerogatives or close their undercover companies.
When you give a necessary weight, the militarization, you know that, as necessary, it is to defend the society of excesses that will appear. The European Military Plan declined in Romania does not mean that only drones in Bacău or bicycles will be made in Zărnești, but that thousands of coloni and hundreds of new generals will become much more influential. General Ciuca will convince you.
2. ANAF militarization has not led to a good

Against the background of the visible growth of the confidence of the new president in the “structured order” and in the hierarchs, G4media also noticed the journalist Dan Tăpălagă fined the president to co -operate the secret services in the fight against tax evasion. Nicușor Dan intends to ask in the CSAT the involvement of the SRI in what does not do well enough ANAF.
But the SRI had, also by virtue of a decision, people in ANAF. The director of the Romanian Intelligence Service, Eduard Hellvig, said. We do not refer to secret agents who put their microphones in the jar of zacusca, cold on the tax sill, but to officers transferred with a service order. Probably some were very good specialists, but then they deserved to be the tax employees.
Because (1) not to have excess financial specialists at SRI we pay SRI and (2) not that we pay ANAF, to work others what they do not do.
The collection is achieved by professionalization, not by “sereization”. The whole experience of democratic tax services says this. “Much more would do the transparency of the data,” commented Alina Mungiu Pippidi, when he heard about the idea of Nicușor Dan.

The President of Romania is in an uncomfortable position. I saw the questions of the foreign press. The cancellation of the November 2024 elections always appears on the agenda. It is a weirdness in the EU, the shirt with three roosters, a theme impossible to avoid. And it is easy to imagine that Dan's counterparts in other countries ask the same thing. At least out of human curiosity, for a coffee, and he still asks.
I also watched the answers of Nicușor Dan. The head of state uses, as a first example of interference of Russia, not what the secret services gave him, but what the journalists discovered. He does not quote, he does not even say that he has revealed the press, but let's go over details. The President of Romania tells how dozens of sites have played warm news about chamomile, life beyond and weight loss recipes, and have gathered, for years, a good audience.
Then, this network of sites about saints and nutrition, with proven Russian roots, was activated and delivered a “face” support for Călin Georgescu. Suddenly, the network politicized. And it was politicized fixed before the elections and based on a national-communist speech: a lot of nostalgia, resentment and the idea that foreigners steal Romanians.
This said Nicușor Dan in the Polish press, when asked how Russia intervened in the canceled elections. It is exactly the disclosure of journalist Victor Ilie in Snoop. The information of the press has taken the world tour, were understood and are used, in the absence of arguments from the state, in the president's explanations.
And, no, it does not result from this that journalist Victor Ilie would be a good chief at ANAF.
