The Ukrainian anti-corruption authority revealed a corruption scandal in the energy sector, [szkody w niej są wyceniane na 100 mln dol., czyli ponad 368 mln zł]during energy supply interruptions throughout the country. National Anticorruption Bureau of Ukraine [NABU] identified a businessman as the alleged “brain” of the corruption network [Timura Mindicza] associated with President Volodymyr Zelensky.
“The current scandal involving the illegal Ukrainian authorities and Zelensky's cronies is the biggest scandal in the entire period of the rule of the illegal President Zelensky, whose power depends on weapons supplies from the West and the forced mobilization of Ukrainian men to the front against Russia,” wrote the Moscow Komsomolets daily.
The famous propagandist Olga Skabeeva, host of the talk show “60 Minutes” on Rossiya 1 television, went further.
She discussed rumors that Zelensky may have been forced to enter into peace talks, saying the timing was coincidental [ujawnienia] corruption scandal and reports about US President Donald Trump's new peace plan may not be accidental.
“Meanwhile, obedient Zelensky propagandists accuse the opposition of deliberately exaggerating the corruption scandal in order to force Zelensky to peace — on Putin's terms,” Skabeyeva said, referring to Ukrainian politicians and journalists.
Potential resignation of Zelensky's influential chief of staff, Andriy Yermak [w związku z aferą korupcyjną]”would be a double defeat for Zelensky,” added one of the propagandist's guests.
“The moment when [Wołodymyr Zełenski] shows any weakness in Ukraine, he will be done for – he will be completely and irreversibly devoured by his critics… If he doesn't [nie odwoła Andrija Jermaka]this means that he publicly states that he is ready to share the responsibility with his chief of staff,” the guest said, adding that Zelensky has not been formally accused of committing a crime.

Alleged US conspiracy
Nezawisimaja Gazeta website quoted experts who said that the corruption scandal has become “Washington's way of putting pressure on Ukraine, aimed at forcing [Kijowa] to agree to the peace agreements planned by the presidents of Russia and the United States in Alaska.”
For Russian officials, the scandal gives new fuel to their claims that Western taxpayers are being robbed by corrupt politicians in Kiev.
— The money that European countries sent to Ukraine, taking it from their citizens, was misappropriated by the regime in Kiev. Now it has become obvious to everyone, said State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin.
Ekaterina Andreeva, a leading propagandist and popular news presenter at the state-owned station Pervyi Kanal [Pierwszy Kanał]described the Ukrainian anti-corruption investigation as “a TV series that collects compromising materials and sows chaos in the political sphere of Ukraine.”
Another station correspondent, discussing Zelensky's recent trip to Turkey with the intention of resuming peace negotiations, stated that the Ukrainian leader went abroad primarily to escape from his problems, and not to hold talks on ending the war with Russia with Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The “cherry on the cake of absurdity” were the peace talks with Erdogan, which were the official destination of the trip, the correspondent said. “It sounds quite strange, considering that just last week the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs officially announced that Kiev has ruled out negotiations with Moscow this year,” he added.

“Now we know why Zelensky suddenly had to leave – to breathe the fresh air of Greece, France, Spain and now Turkey, so to speak. In short, to get away as far as possible from these pompous corrupt traders in Kiev,” the correspondent continued.
Channel One's correspondent also suggested that the European press had been instructed to refrain from extensive coverage of the corruption scandal.
“The American press has not been very favorable to the Ukrainian authorities lately, but Europe is following a different trend. Of course, they have to write something about the scandal, but whenever they have the opportunity not to do it, they don't,” he said on the air.
“For example, there is no mention of it on the BBC and Sky News websites,” the correspondent said, even though both the BBC and Sky News published information about the scandal.
