Deputies propose to develop a “sovereign messenger” in order to protect against scammers, since foreign platforms are often used by attackers to communicate with victims. The initiative was issued on May 28 as amendments to the bill on the features of the processing of personal data.
The platform, according to the head of the State Duma of the State Duma of Sergei Boyarsky, “will provide the creation of a trusted and safe environment for communication, will make it possible not to use paper documents, but to certify personality with a digital ID.”
