Krasnoyarsk road workers reported on the completion of repairs on Maerchak Street.

Let us remind you that work started in early April on a 1.28 km section – from the roundabout to Svobodny Avenue. Previously, there were potholes and cracks in the asphalt, old side stones had crumbled, there were no pedestrian connections in places, and another problem was subsidence in the storm sewer networks.

“The contractor completed the entire scope of the planned work: updated the road surface, replaced old curbs with new ones, and tidied up the sidewalks. Now the road has become smooth and safe,” the UDIB said. “In the photographs you can see how Maerchak Street has changed after the renovation.”

This morning, road laboratory specialists took cuttings of the asphalt concrete mixture to measure the thickness of the laid pavement layer, the content of air voids and other characteristics to ensure the quality of the work performed. “The felling sites will be restored in the near future. We monitor every stage and are ready to demand corrections if something goes wrong,” the UDIB assured.

Let us remind you that currently road repairs in Krasnoyarsk have been completely completed in three more sections: this is the passage from the street. Odesskaya to st. Ryazanskoy, st. Border guards from Yastynska to Bashilovskaya and st. 78 Volunteer Brigade from Molokovo to Oktyabrskaya.
