“Behind us is the presidential election, which brought huge emotions,” Tusk noted. “Thank you to each and each of you for participating in voting. Over 20 million citizens voted, showing how deeply rooted in us faith in democracy and the principles of free and universal choices.”

“I know perfectly well that we have difficult months ahead of us. Perhaps more difficult than many of us assumed when we went to the urns yesterday, but this does not reduce my determination or readiness to defend common values. We have a prepared action plan in the event of difficult cooperation with the president” – added Tusk.
The announcement of voting on the vote of trust, which the media previously informed, was confirmed directly by the prime minister. “The implementation of this plan will require full mobilization, courage and consistency from the entire coalition on October 15,” the prime minister emphasized. “The vote of trust will be our first test in this new political situation. I want everyone, both in Poland and abroad, to see that we are ready for this challenge. That we understand how serious this moment is, and that we will not take even a step back” – concluded Tusk.
