The head of government also referred to the result of the presidential election. In a special speech, Donald Tusk congratulated Karol Nawrocki to win and emphasized the importance of election attendance.
“Behind us is the presidential election, which brought huge emotions,” Tusk noted. “Thank you to each and each of you for participating in voting. Over 20 million citizens voted, showing how deeply rooted in us faith in democracy and the principles of free and universal choices.”
The Prime Minister also assured that The government will respect the choice of citizens and cooperate with the new president wherever it is needed and possible.

“I know perfectly well that we have difficult months ahead of us. Perhaps more difficult than many of us assumed when we went to the urns yesterday, but this does not reduce my determination or readiness to defend common values. We have a prepared action plan in the event of difficult cooperation with the president” – added Tusk.
The announcement of voting on the vote of trust, which the media previously informed, was confirmed directly by the prime minister. Tusk announced this move as part of a broader political strategy in response to the result of the presidential election And possible tensions between the executive and the head of state.
“The implementation of this plan will require full mobilization, courage and consistency from the entire coalition on October 15,” the prime minister emphasized. “The vote of trust will be our first test in this new political situation. I want everyone, both in Poland and abroad, to see that we are ready for this challenge. That we understand how serious this moment is, and that we will not take even a step back” – concluded Tusk.
